2010 April: Out of 307 book the "Amazing Tree" was one of 12 books selected as the recommendation for the Rattenfänger Literature Price, one of the most prestigious literature prices in Germany.

2007: The book "True Friends" was listed in the publication "Best Children´s Books of the Year by Childrens Book Comitee based in New York.

2006: The book "True Friends" in Kinyarwandan translation was selected title in the White Ravens

2005: BolognaRagazzi Award in Category New Horizons , Bologna Children’s Book Fair- Italy for the book "True Friends".

2004: Peter Pans Silverstar Award for the best children story book at the Göteborg Book Fair, Sweden.

2002: My book was among the best 7 children books in Germany according to magazine Focus, nr. 6 issue.

2002: Katolischer Jugendbuchpreis for "Fresh Fish", Germany.

2002: Blauen Brillenschlangen for "Fresh Fish", Schweiz.
